The seaweeds Phaeophyceae and Ascophyllumnodosum in particular are used in this formulation. It elicits an array of positive responses in plants, including the increase in overall growth of plant as well as size, shape, flavor, colour, texture and shine of the crops, germination rate, chlorophyll synthesis, fruitquality, and post-harvest shelflife.
